Langley Tire Reef Dive 2013

We've been advised that this site will be unavailalbe after April 1st, 2013, as they will be doing construction on the marina. A group of diver's went to dive it one last time on both a weekday, and a weekend day, to accommodate everyone who wanted to go. Kerry E. reported the following after the weekend dive:

The visibility was much better than expected. No dive students flailing and messing up the vis. There were lots of perch, a few rock cod, lots of crabs hugging each other (get a room!), large fish eating anemones, small juvenaile buffalo sculpins and huge orange peel nudis. If you can get out in the next while, I would recommend it. The marina is dive-friendly with warm washrooms (just rinse your feet before you use the facilities out of courtesy of the septic system). Give them a call to make sure they are allowing divers. Max depth is 35' - give or take.
