Keystone & Advanced Open Water Class Dive 2012
On April 13, several divers headed States' Side to enjoy a weekend of diving and training. A few divers stayed at the amazing little campground at Fort Casey, just by Keystone Ferry Terminal. On Saturday, more divers joined in the fun. The day began late morning with a Drift Dive at Keystone Jetty. Some joined the class for a refresher and other did their own thing. It was good to see so many people out. After a long surface interval, the group headed to Langley Tire Reef to do two more dives: a Navigation Dive and a Night Dive. With lots of combinations of skill levels, it was easy to find a suitable buddy. A few divers headed back home, with some of us arriving in the wee hours of the morning, rather exhausted. Others still, stayed another night and dove some more. Overall, the weather was marvellous and the company was even better. Below are some pictures from the day.
