HMCS Saskatchewan 2011
The morning began with the gang meeting at Trolls for breakfast before departing on the ferry out of Horseshoe Bay. There were several members and non-members coming on this trip, all of us knowing one person or another. The dive itself was great with terrific visibility. For some this was their first dive on the Saskatchewan and it was thrilling! The second dive was at Clarke Rock where we all hovered around the wolf eels trying to entice them out of the hidey-holes. We celebrated Rob R's '29' birthday with cake and goodies. After unloading the boat we ventured over to the pub for some munchies. Michel, Mike and Kerry did another shore dive that night at Madrona Park. It was a long day but an awesome day! We all look forward to doing this again!
